Acting on Our Mission

 

Promoting high standards of ethics, integrity, and professional excellence is at the core of our mission at CFA Institute. We do that with our codes, best practice guidelines, and standards, which guide the investment industry and place clients' interests first.

 

The foundation of all the work the Centre does is our Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct (Code and Standards).

 

Our other standards and guidelines further strengthen the industry with focused recommendations in key areas, such as investment performance and research objectivity. Our research informs investors and offers best practices on industry issues.

  

Focus on China:

The paper Pension Fund Reforms in China (PDF) promotes CFA Institute codes and standards to be used in promoting the development of the Chinese pension market and in ensuring the inclusion of experienced, qualified trustees, administrators, investment managers, custodians, and of course, beneficiaries.
